MKMMA 2018 Week 10 – Spreading Christmas Cheer
These last few weeks have really kept me busy. I have gotten lots of requests to portray Santa and while many do not actually book I am okay with that. It takes a lot of time and effort to be the very best Santa. The bookings I have had are going so well however that I am getting referrals, and even returning clients.
I am really enjoying this time of year despite how crazy busy it can be. We start a new scroll (technically already have at the time of this writing) and I will persist until I succeed. I have made scroll 2 a part of my daily life as much as possible since first taking the course back in 2015 and really that is something that the real Santa does. To me portraying Santa is not just a once a year thing but something we should all strive to do every day of our lives, and the skills taught in the MKMMA really help me to realize and embody what I need to do to take on a personality that requires one to be on their very best behavior 365 days a year. But there isn’t a better career on the planet.
I just confirmed today a gig with Nationwide Santas, a milk and cookies event with Santa. I am excited to get to do it and it sounds like a lot of fun. I’m going to get paid to eat milk and cookies and I don’t even have to pay for them. What a great job!
